Dry-type transformers, that is, transformers that do not rely on natural wind cooling of other cooling media, the insulating medium is air or other dry gases. According to Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, it uses AC electromagnetic field to generate electromotive force in a coil, so as to realize the rise and fall of voltage. Compared with oil-immersed transformers, the main difference of dry-type transformers is that their cores and windings are not immersed in insulating oil.
