Material: Transformer core is usually made of silicon steel sheet or NiFe (nickel-iron) alloy and other materials. These materials have the characteristics of low resistance and high permeability, which can effectively reduce the energy loss in the transformer and improve the efficiency of the transformer.
Structure:
Silicon steel sheet thickness: The commonly used silicon steel sheet thickness is 0.35mm and 0.5mm.
Assembly method: The assembly method of silicon steel sheet mainly has two kinds of overlapping method and overlapping method. The overlapping method distributes the openings of the silicon steel sheet one to one alternately on both sides, and the gap is small and the magnetic resistance is small, which is conducive to increasing the magnetic flux, so the power transformer adopts this method. The stacking rule is often used in the case of DC current, in order to avoid saturation caused by DC current, there needs to be a gap between the silicon steel sheet.
Core type: According to the shape and use of different, the core can be divided into TOROID ring core, RODCORE rod core, DRUMCORE drum core and other types.
